Madeira's regional minimum wage rises to €980 in 2026

Regional Legislative Decree 1/2026/M, published on 3 February 2026, sets the guaranteed minimum monthly wage in the Autonomous Region of Madeira at €980, effective from 1 January 2026.

This is €60 above the national minimum wage of €920 in 2026 and a €65 increase on the previous €915. It applies to all workers in the Region, whatever their job or sector.
